Sending Connection Requests

Connect with suppliers to start ordering products

How Connection Requests Work

Before you can order from a marketplace supplier, you need to send a connection request. The supplier reviews your request and can accept or decline. Once accepted, you can immediately start browsing their full catalog and placing orders.

1

Find a Supplier

Browse the marketplace and find a supplier you want to work with.

  1. Go to Marketplace from main navigation
  2. Search or filter to find relevant suppliers
  3. Click "View Profile" to see their products and details
2

Send Connection Request

On the supplier's profile page, click the "Connect with Supplier" button (purple button at the top of the page).

Tip: The button is prominently displayed near the supplier's name and logo.

3

Add an Introduction Message (Optional)

A dialog box appears where you can add an optional message to introduce yourself.

What to Include:

  • Your restaurant name and type (e.g., "Italian bistro in downtown")
  • Products you're interested in (e.g., "Looking for fresh produce")
  • Any special requirements (e.g., "Need same-day delivery")
  • Estimated order frequency (e.g., "Weekly orders")

Example Message:

"Hi! We're a family-owned Italian restaurant in the downtown area. We're looking for a reliable supplier for fresh vegetables and dairy products. We typically order 2-3 times per week. Looking forward to working with you!"

Submit Your Request

Click the "Send Request" button to submit your connection request.

✓ Request Sent! The supplier will be notified via email and in-app notification.
