Setting Up Your Marketplace Profile

Configure your marketplace presence to attract new buyers

Overview

The Supplier Marketplace allows you to showcase your business to potential buyers. A well-configured marketplace profile helps buyers discover your business and understand your offerings at a glance.

📍 Location: Go to Settings → Marketplace tab to configure your profile.

Enable Marketplace Visibility

Toggle the "Show my business in the marketplace" switch to make your profile public.

Note: Your profile will only appear in the marketplace when this is enabled. You can disable it anytime to make your profile private.

Write Your Marketplace Description

Create a compelling 2-3 sentence description that highlights your business strengths.

Tips for a Great Description:

  • Highlight your specialties (e.g., "Premium organic vegetables")
  • Mention your service area or delivery capabilities
  • Include unique selling points (e.g., "Same-day delivery available")
  • Keep it concise and professional

Example: "Family-owned distributor specializing in fresh produce and dairy. Serving restaurants across the metro area with same-day delivery and competitive pricing."

Add Specialty Tags

Add tags that describe your product categories to help buyers find you.

How to Add Specialties:

  1. Type a specialty name in the input field
  2. Press Enter to add it as a tag
  3. Add multiple specialties for better discoverability
  4. Click the X on any tag to remove it

Save Your Changes

Click the "Save Marketplace Settings" button at the bottom of the page.

✓ Success! Your marketplace profile is now live and visible to buyers.
