Custom pricing allows you to offer special prices to specific buyers for individual products. This helps you build stronger relationships, reward loyal customers, and negotiate volume discounts without changing your base prices for everyone.
💰 Benefits: Increase customer loyalty, close larger deals, and maintain competitive pricing for key accounts while keeping standard prices for others.
Base Price
The standard price all buyers see by default
Custom Price
A special price you set for a specific buyer on a specific product
Buyer-Specific
Only the selected buyer sees the custom price; others see the base price
🏷️ Example: Your tomatoes have a base price of $5/kg. You set a custom price of $4/kg for Restaurant ABC (your high-volume customer). Restaurant ABC sees $4/kg, while all other buyers see $5/kg.
Path: Dashboard → Pricing → Set Custom Price
Choose which buyer will receive the custom price from your list of connected buyers.
💡 Tip: You can only set custom prices for buyers who have accepted your invitation and are connected to your supplier account.
Choose which product you want to offer at a custom price. You'll see the current base price displayed.
Enter the special price for this buyer. The custom price is typically lower than the base price, but you can set it to any amount.
Example:
• Base Price: $5.00/kg
• Custom Price: $4.50/kg (10% discount)
• Savings for buyer: $0.50/kg
Click "Save" or "Set Custom Price" button. The custom price is immediately active.
✓ Active: The buyer will now see the custom price when browsing this product. They'll see a "Custom Price" badge indicating they're getting a special deal.
Go to Dashboard → Pricing to see a list of all custom prices you've set. You can filter by buyer or product to find specific pricing rules.
Find the custom price in your list and click Edit. Update the price and save. The new price takes effect immediately for future orders.
To remove a custom price, find it in your list and click Delete. The buyer will revert to seeing the base price.
⚠️ Deleting a custom price cannot be undone. You'll need to recreate it if needed.

Match or beat competitor prices for specific buyers without lowering prices for everyone.
Honor negotiated contract prices for buyers with special agreements.
Start with Key Accounts
Focus custom pricing on your most important buyers first. Don't try to set custom prices for everyone.
Keep It Simple
Don't create overly complex pricing structures. Simple, clear discounts are easier to manage.
Communicate the Value
Let buyers know they're getting special pricing. Use messages or order chat to highlight the benefit.
Review Regularly
Periodically review custom prices to ensure they still make sense for your business and market conditions.
Yes, buyers see a "Custom Price" badge on products where you've set special pricing. They can see they're getting a deal, but they don't see what the base price is for other buyers.
Currently, custom prices are set one product at a time. However, you can quickly set multiple custom prices for the same buyer by repeating the process for each product.
Existing orders keep their original prices. Only new orders placed after the change will use the updated custom price.
Yes, technically you can, though it's uncommon. The system allows any price. Most suppliers use custom pricing for discounts, but you could use it for premium pricing if needed.
