Order Modifications

Understanding supplier-proposed changes to your orders

What Are Order Modifications?

Sometimes suppliers need to make changes to your order before fulfilling it. This could be due to stock availability, quantity adjustments, or other operational reasons. When a supplier proposes modifications, you'll be notified and can review, accept, or reject the changes.

🔔 Notifications: You'll receive a notification when a supplier proposes modifications to your order. The order will remain in its current status until you respond.

Common Types of Modifications

Quantity Adjustments

The supplier may adjust quantities due to stock availability or minimum order requirements. For example, if you ordered 5kg but they only have 4kg available, they might propose reducing the quantity.

Item Removal

If certain items are out of stock or unavailable, the supplier may propose removing them from your order rather than rejecting the entire order.

Product Substitutions

In some cases, suppliers might suggest alternative products if your original selection is unavailable. They'll communicate this through order chat along with the modification.
