Order Status & Tracking

Understand order statuses and track your deliveries

Overview

ChefOrdering provides real-time order tracking so you always know the status of your orders. You'll receive notifications whenever your order status changes.

📱 Access Orders: Go to Dashboard → Orders to view all your orders and their current status.

Order Statuses Explained

PENDING

Awaiting Confirmation

Your order has been submitted and is waiting for the supplier to review and confirm it.

What you can do:

  • • Wait for supplier confirmation
  • • Cancel the order if needed
  • • Contact supplier via messages or order chat

CONFIRMED

Accepted by Supplier

The supplier has accepted your order and will begin preparing it.

What you can do:

  • • Wait for order preparation
  • • Cancel if necessary (before processing starts)
  • • Review order details

PROCESSING

Being Prepared

Your order is being prepared and packaged by the supplier.

What you can do:

  • • Wait for order to be ready for delivery
  • • Contact supplier for updates
  • • Cancellation may not be possible at this stage

OUT_FOR_DELIVERY

On the Way

Your order is on its way to your delivery address.

What you can do:

  • • Ensure someone is available to receive the delivery
  • • Check your delivery address and instructions
  • • Contact supplier if delivery is delayed
  • • Cannot cancel at this stage

DELIVERED

Completed

Your order has been successfully delivered.

What you can do:

  • • Verify the delivery and check items
  • • Use the "Reorder" button to place the same order again
  • • Contact supplier if there are any issues
  • • View order history and invoice

CANCELLED

Order Cancelled

This order has been cancelled by you or the supplier.

What you can do:

  • • View cancellation reason in order details
  • • Place a new order if needed
  • • Contact supplier to discuss

REJECTED

Not Accepted

The supplier was unable to fulfill this order and rejected it.

What you can do:

  • • Check order chat for supplier's reason
  • • Contact supplier to discuss alternatives
  • • Modify and resubmit the order
  • • Order from a different supplier

How to Track Your Orders

1. View All Orders

Path: Dashboard → Orders

See a list of all your orders with their current status, order date, and total amount.

2. View Order Details

Click on any order to view:

  • • Current order status
  • • All items in the order with quantities and prices
  • • Delivery address and instructions
  • • Order timeline and status history
  • • Supplier information
  • • Order chat messages

3. Get Notifications

🔔 Real-time Updates: You'll receive notifications whenever your order status changes. Click the bell icon in the top navigation to view all notifications.
